How the estimate is built

The calculator starts from a well-known reference point — roughly 24°C and 50% relative humidity dries a medium-thickness design to the crusted stage in about 1.5 hours — and adjusts from there. Warmer air shortens the estimate, cooler air lengthens it; higher humidity slows evaporation, lower humidity speeds it up. Thicker fills hold more moisture and take longer than fine, thin lines.
